For years, regressive tax measures passed here without much of a fight, burdening working families. Nobody showed up to argue the other side.

That has changed. We are a grassroots, non-partisan coalition organized specifically to defeat the November transit sales tax across five counties. We support functional public transit, but we can no longer hand blank checks to unaccountable agencies that refuse to adapt to changing technologies, ridership and commute patterns.

Defeating this tax is our primary mission, and it is a crucial step toward accountability and a more affordable Bay Area. We would love to share our strategy with you in person.

Speaking

Jon Coupal, president of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association. For over two decades he has led the fight to defend Proposition 13, the cornerstone of taxpayer protection that keeps people in their homes while assuring stable, predictable revenues for local governments.

Debora Allen, who recently concluded an eight-year term on the BART Board of Directors. Throughout her tenure she was a relentless advocate for fiscal accountability and transparency, consistently asking the tough financial questions the agency preferred to avoid.

Club Auto Sport is one of Silicon Valley's most stunning event venues. Our reception takes place within their private TMFC Museum, so you will be surrounded by an incredible collection of classic cars, historical artifacts and sports memorabilia throughout the evening.

Fueling the Campaign

Every ticket purchased helps us organize, but we are up against agencies and unions with far deeper pockets. If you can give more than the $75 admission, please do. A dollar that arrives before Labor Day is worth several that arrive in October.
